The best way to prove a new sandwich is great? Take away the logo. For the launch of the Chicken Big Mac, we created a fake fast-food brand where fans unknowingly tasted the real sandwich in the ultimate blind taste test.

THE DUPE
We collaborated with @EatAtChain to open an undercover dupe restaurant called McDonnell’s. Fans thought they were trying “The Chicken Sandwich” – a dupe of the classic Big Mac – when it was actually McDonald’s new Chicken Big Mac.

The REVEAL
The morning of October 3rd 2024, we announced the Chicken Big Mac and revealed McDonald’s was behind the McDonnell’s dupe all along getting coverage across social media and on news outlets like USA TODAY, TODAY, The Daily Meal, Mashed.
