Straight talk
Around 70% of kids get their first phone in middle school. So this back-to-school season, we created The First Phone Pact—a customizable agreement that helps families set boundaries, build trust, and have open conversations about how, when, and why phones are used. Because your first phone plan should come with a plan for how to use it.
The First Phone Pact
To launch The First Phone Pact, we asked real parents and kids one simple question: How old were you when you got your first phone?
The First Phone Pact is intended for families to work together to choose the boundaries that make sense for them (like screen time limits, no phones at dinner, or bedtime rules), agree to them, and sign the pact together. This shared commitment helps set healthy habits from the very first phone.
